As Marley and the Paradis forces go to war in Marley and the Shiganshina District, both sides sustain a heavy death toll while Gabi and Falco are forced to confront their internal tensions about the supposed "devils" of Paradis. It was just too much to the point I had to pause my viewing and repeat it, just to get a grab what was going on. It's maybe three episodes but it's a lot of new information throwing at you through a huge game-changing revelation. The only flaw I would give to this amazing season was that after the climax we have to get through three episodes of pure exploitation. The action is incredible and if the misery and difficult choice are still there, the melodramatic was toned down (a little, it's still pretty over-dramatic) making the viewing more entertaining. This time, there is a stronger focus on political intrigue and finally some answer about what are the titans exactly. Every two episodes, a whole story arc is introduced and another is concluded, the pace is frantic! Some many revelations, twist, action scenes to the point than only 3 episodes in and you have the equivalent of the whole second season. Attack on Titan comes full steamed after a slow and barely eventful season 2.
